Are you an accountant? Or know someone who is?
Are you/they happy with what you/they do? My father in law is one and is offering my husband to take over after he's studied for it. Anyone think this is a good idea? he's 26 now, we've got 2 kids, and it takes about 5 years to study for it. Thanks

Lets put it this way. All the Accountants i know do not live in council houses or rented accomodation. They do not drive second hand cars or buy their clothes from charity shops. They can afford to buy lots of stuff and have 2 holidays abroad a year. Of course they are happy. It's a job for life.

Sounds like an excellent opportunity. Your husband should be able to study part time in the evenings, and if he is up to it (I don't mean that in a bad way, just that you do need a certain aptitude for this line of work, he will have to have good maths) well, then it will be a great career.
