Answer 1 :
Decide which Accountancy body you want too qualify under. There are four main Chartered Bodies :- The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. The Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. Chartered Management Accountants. Chartered Public Finance Accountants. There are two aspects to Qualifying as an Acountant. One is, passing the exams of your chosen Accountancy body, and the second is, obtaining the approved professional training/experience. It is not normally essential that they both be achieved at the same time, you must be accepted/registered as a student with your chosen accountancy body, however, before you commence studying for the exams. They will be happy to provide you with full details on application to become a student. Of course, there are entry requirements to become a student, usually 'A Levels', although the ICAEW, I believe, are degree entry only. If you want to work in a professional office, you would have to qualify with one of the first two bodies stated above. I Qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant.
Answer 2 :
In college, they have a catalog with all the majors that they offer. It will tell you which classes to take, and when. Probably need alot of math classes..
Answer 3 :
One way is to ask an accountant what they recommend. but in general it would be a degree in finance, and then some studies and experience to take the CPA exam, assuming that is what you mean by accountant. there are many different careers for accountants . Studying finance will show you what the possibilities are.
Answer 4 :
contact your local ACCA organisation, this is the largest international body for accounting. You do exams for CAT technician(Certified Account Technician) and then become a full accredited ACCA professional. They have courses to suit your needs, i.e. part-time and flexible. The entry requirements are not so stringent. There is just an age limit. If however, you have a Bachelor in Business Studies or similiar you may be exempt from the first two papers. They have a list of all of the exempt universities. Look it up here. www.accaglobal.com If you have any further questions feel free to ask me. : )
Answer 5 :
Ask your boss if he/ she'd concider sneding you to collage. The fees would be taken from your wages in the long run, but you'd both benefit from the education.

Answer 1 :
no we don't, we need something different. Weirdly different.
Answer 2 :
the last 2 yrs its been dancers who have won,, NOT singers so yeah i would say we need another singer to win and NOT a dancer but it woukd be nice for something differant to win for a change last year was a dance act and a year before that was a guy dancing to singing in the rain,, he wasnt singing, the year before that had the guy from a mobile phone shop singing opera
Answer 3 :
Last two years, dancers won? Not singers. LOL
Answer 4 :
only the first year was won by a singer, the previous 2 years were won by dancers. you make it sound like only singers win.
Answer 5 :
I thot he was great!! fair play to him - does it matter if we have another talented singer?!
Answer 6 :
I liked him and I love West Side Story, as much as I like him though, don't think he'll win :)
Answer 7 :
Mm, not really. I'm getting quite bored of classical opera singers now. Yeah he has a very good voice but no more for me :) I'm reeeally hoping for another act like Signature - entertaining but not in a cliche, been-done-before kinda way.
Answer 8 :
I found the song very boring. He was okay but not outstanding. And way too old to be hanging out with his parents! Ahh, the dog. Those beautiful, velvety eyes! I think HM would adore her (or him).
Answer 9 :
I liked him. He has a powerful voice. Given the right song and a makover and he could be the next winner. Gay men will love him to bits.
Answer 10 :
He was brilliant H!! But....... I think he'd have been better suited to a ALW stage musical type show. No doubting he has an amazing voice though.
Answer 11 :
We've had too many singers and dancers, time for something different! Maybe the regurgitator? Hmmm maybe not! The gymnasts were excellent though!
Answer 12 :
I agree, I'm sick of this serious opera sh*t. I loved the other opera guy, at least he had an edge by singing modern songs.
Answer 13 :
I agree, another singer is not the best idea..But the public get to decide
Answer 14 :
I agree! The kids that done the acrobatics were simply brill and the dog from last week was fab. But at the end of the competition, it will come down to who can make MONEY for Simon Cowell
Answer 15 :
i dont think that matters because he had an amazing voice.. look at subo, she didn't win. and i REALLY don't want another dance act to win. i loved the arrangement or whatever it was... that wasn't just singing.
Answer 16 :
He was V good too,I Think he'll make the finals and possibly win.
Answer 17 :
The only winning singer was Paul Potts and I think he was a one-off. No - Last week´s dog or the gymnasts up until now
Answer 18 :
I dont realy like him he aint that amazing,,i agree with you I loved the dog too :) soo cute But i also thought the gymnasts from this week were awesome too x

Answer 1 :
Sure, you can do anything you like.
Answer 2 :
Don't waste your life on Accounting.
Answer 3 :
I am sure you asked this before and this is the answer that I gave. This is getting to be one of my pet hates on here - people asking the same question again, and again and again..... No reason why you can't do that. However - and there often is a however with these questions.... If you worked as a chartered accountant say 10 years before you decide to work as a civil engineer a few things will happen. In 10 years as a chartered accountant you will have passed your Professional exams and this means that you will be earning quite good money. Now go to be a graduate civil engineer (no experience so you start at the bottom of the rung again), your take home pay will drop quite a bit (over £10k). You might struggle to actually get jobs - a look at your CV will show that you are an accountant and engineering firms will probably want an engineer with engineering more at the front of their mind. Certainly it is possible. However a better course of action might be to decide which you want to do first and train for that, work at that until you want to change and then spend the 3 or 4 years re-training. That way you will have the engineering knowledge in the front of your mind and be able to sell yourself better. Now as for getting a well paid civil engineering job as a new graduate.... that is another thing and quite a rare job to find - you start at the bottom with all careers until you get experience to earn more money. When I have read your multiple identical questions - you were looking for jobs that paid £100k after a while - neither will do that unless you are the best. £25k is a bit on the high side for a starting salary for both - £20k might be a more realistic proposition.

Answer 2 :
Accounting has little to do with maths and so there should be no problem. However, it needs a lot of concentration and attention to detail and ICT should help here.

If I was you I would look down the list of answers here - there has a been a load asked repeatedly by the same person asking the same thing..... it wasn't you was it? Different name, same question..... Yes you can be a chartered accountant having completed a degree in engineering, whether it is Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or Chemical. No it would not be reasonable to expect £30K after 3 years in the near future. £24K to £26K might be more realistic if you are good. Starting salary might be £20K. Again this question has been asked in the last week - read down the recent questions and you will get the answer that you asked before......
