u must be worth a fortune
Answer 2 :
try these people. Don't know too much about them. I suppose you have heard the joke several times by now: Q - why do so many Chinese people live in Harrow? A - Because when they arrive at Heathrow, they go outside, walk up to a black cab and say "harrow, taxi dliver". Sorry - it is more of an audible joke. Contact me if you need it explained!
Answer 3 :
look in the Yellow pages better still ask some tour colleagues for recommendations.
Answer 4 :
You know how to use the internet obviously (you wouldn't be posting otherwise) Type into the search engine search bar (not the i.e/firefox etc search bar) for ACCA or ICAEW (that is Association of certified chartered accountants, or was it chartered certified accountants and also the Institude of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales), one is based near the city of london business library (brewers hall gardens) and the other one is located the other end of London wall (just off Moorgate)

Oppurtunities for Chartered Accountant Students in the US/Europe.?

Oppurtunities for Chartered Accountant Students in the US/Europe.?
Im doing my Chartered Accountancy in Bangalore. But i just wanted to know if there are good opportunities for me outside India once im done with my studies. Only thing that would probably differ are the corporate laws and the Accounting Standards. But the IFRS (International Financial Accounting Standards) coming into picture, i think it wont be a problem. But still, for a newly qualified student are there good opportunities abroad is my question.

Answer 1 :
surely it would cause a conflict of intrest for the clients?
Answer 2 :
no...it be conflict of interest/confidentiality...I am sure no employer will be so stupid to employ the same
Answer 3 :
if he is reputable & has the honesty & integrity to keep the 2 seperate in his mind , sure , i'm sure it happens quite often
Answer 4 :
Yes on one hand... if the accountant/financial adviser is an independent person/entity. No on the other hand... if the accountant/financial adviser has interest on one company. Conflict of interest may bring about bias mind on the job and this gives room for sentiments in favor of his interest and this is certainly against his work ethics.
Answer 5 :
Most companies would make you sign a form declaring that while you work for them, you will not have any other outside business activities that would conflict with whatever they hire you for. For example, you can't work for Microsoft during the day, and get a part-time job at Apple working nights and week-ends. Conflict of interest, your exposure to trade secrets that you may accidentally share with a competitor, or secrets you may find out about a competitor that could make you liable if anything goes wrong. One can't sell products for two different companies, it gives you no credibility with customers. It's morally and ethically wrong, and with the heightened security and random background checks, one might get away with it for a while, but you will get caught.
Answer 6 :
Technically yes, but it depends in what sense you are asking. A representative can sell products from a multitude of different companies, such as mutual funds from different companies, annuities from different insurers, etc. The rep works for a company which is separate but does have a selling agreement with investment companies that are vendors. However, it would be highly irregular for a securities firm to allow you to work for rival firms. for example, Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney at the same time. I am not 100% sure about accounting firms, but I am fairly certain that it would not be permissible to work for example, H.R. Block and Jackson Hewitt or KPMG and PriceWaterhouse Coopers at the same time either.
Answer 7 :
Yes of course he can. I've acted for two firms of solicitors in the same town. There is no conflict of interest because the best advice is given to both of them.
